Network

The Blended Synchronous Learning Collaborator Network comprised over one-thousand educators from Australia, New Zealand and beyond with an interest in how rich-media synchronous technologies such as video conferencing, web-conferencing, and virtual worlds can be used to unite remote and face-to-face students in the same live classes. Since the inception of the BlendSync project the Network held four webinars to discuss issues and emerging themes relating to blended synchronous learning. Often members of the Network presented their strategies, approaches and research at these webinars. The mailing list was also a mechanism to reach out to other like-minded educators who were interested in the use of rich-media synchronous technologies in learning and teaching, and was actively used by members.
